Learn More about Dalton Andrew

Bio

Dalton Andrew Zeigler was born on October 29, 1999, outside of Harrisburg PA and still resides there. He goes by the stage name “Dalton Andrew”. Dalton was heavily influenced by music at a very young age. Iron Maiden was his favorite band growing up. He experimented with several instruments, but the guitar was the one he loved the most. Dalton is left-handed and tried to play the much more common right-handed guitar, but it never felt right to him, so he stayed with the left-handed guitar and never looked back. At age 16 he started practicing 1-2 hours a day, then 3-4 hours, and currently 8-12 hours a day. He went from “Guitar Hero”, to “Rocksmith”, to open mic nights. Dalton’s first experience playing for a large crowd was at the high school talent show in front of several hundred people. He was a good student in school and started taking college classes in 11th and 12th grades for music business. He graduated high school in 2018 and completed college in 2019 with an associate degree in music business and a diploma in audio engineering, while doing an internship at Progressive Enterprises Sound Studios. During this time, he played with local musicians and attended a lot of shows. Dalton is mostly self-taught but has been taking guitar lessons with Dario Lorina of Black Label Society through Death Grip Academy, Cody Suchomski of Out of Darkness, and Ryan Chilcote of BCR Music. He has been a member of a few bands including Blood and Earth, Offensive, and The Plan. He performed shows and 2 mini tours with Offensive opening up for the bands Butcher Babies, Infected Rain, Stitched Up Heart, Inhuman Condition, Crusadist, Out of Darkness and Wildstreet. He also performed shows with The Plan and opened up for Nail Bite and Texas Hippie Coalition. His favorite genres are traditional heavy metal, power metal and melodic death metal and he shares his guitar playing on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok.

Dalton would like to give a big thank you to all of those who have helped him grow as a musician.
